Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By engaging The Career Studio ("we", "our", "us"), operated by Allinta Rose Trading as The Career Studio, to provide resume writing and related career services, you ("the Client") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Services

The Career Studio provides professional resume writing, cover letter writing, LinkedIn profile optimisation, executive bios, and related career document services. All services are performed remotely and delivered digitally.

2.1 Service Packages

We offer three service tiers: Essential ($199 AUD), Career Accelerator ($299 AUD), and Leadership Suite ($499 AUD). The inclusions for each package are detailed on our website.

2.2 Custom Requests

Requests outside the scope of a standard package may incur additional fees, communicated and agreed upon before work commences.

3. How It Works

• The Client selects a package and pays in full through our secure checkout.
• The Client is then taken to a short online brief to provide career details and upload any existing resume.
• Work commences immediately upon receipt of the completed brief.
• Completed documents are delivered within the specified turnaround time.
• Revisions are included as per the selected package and must be requested within 14 days of delivery.

4. Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and truthful information about career history, qualifications, and achievements
• Respond to follow-up questions in a timely manner
• Review delivered documents promptly and request revisions within the specified timeframe

5. Payment

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of GST where applicable. Full payment is required before work commences. Allinta Rose Trading as The Career Studio is the seller and merchant of record for all orders. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Receipts are issued automatically at the time of purchase, and all customer service enquiries are handled directly by us at hello@thecareerstudio.com.au.

6. Turnaround Times

• Essential: 5 business days
• Career Accelerator: 3 business days
• Leadership Suite: 2 business days (48-hour express)

7. Revisions

• Essential: 1 round of revisions
• Career Accelerator: 2 rounds of revisions
• Leadership Suite: Unlimited revisions within 14 days of delivery

8. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment and delivery, the Client owns the final resume and all delivered documents. The Career Studio retains the right to use anonymised excerpts for portfolio and marketing purposes, unless the Client opts out in writing.

10. Limitation of Liability

We do not guarantee employment outcomes, specific interview rates, or job offers. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

11. Cancellation & Refunds

You may request a refund within 30 days of your purchase date under our 30-day money-back guarantee. To request a refund, email hello@thecareerstudio.com.au and we will process it back to your original payment method via Stripe. See our Refund Policy for full details.

12. Acceptable Use

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to The Career Studio website, ATS resume checker and all resume writing, cover letter, LinkedIn optimisation and career support services. You agree to use our website and services lawfully, safely and honestly.

You must not use our website or services to:

• Break any law, facilitate illegal activity, commit fraud or spam, or provide false or misleading information, including fabricated qualifications, work history or licences
• Submit content you do not own or have permission to use, or infringe another person's copyright, trademark, intellectual property, privacy or confidentiality rights
• Upload or request unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, hateful, obscene, exploitative or otherwise harmful material
• Impersonate another person or use another person's identity, account, payment method or email address without permission
• Upload malware, viruses or malicious code; probe security; scrape content; bypass access controls; overload systems; or disrupt the website, ATS checker or payment services
• Resell, redistribute, licence, copy or republish our templates, reports, written content or methodology as your own product or service
• Abuse, threaten or harass our staff, misuse support channels, or make fraudulent refund, chargeback or payment claims

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and remove content, refuse service, cancel an order, or suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, where there is a security or fraud risk, following non-payment, or where required by law. Serious or repeated violations may be reported to relevant authorities. Refund rights remain subject to Australian Consumer Law and our Refund Policy.

13. Suspension & Termination

We may refuse, suspend or terminate your access to our services, cancel an order, and withhold or revoke delivery of documents, immediately and without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms (including the Acceptable Use section above), engaged in fraud or chargeback abuse, or if we are required to do so by law or by our payment provider. Where an order is cancelled for a breach that is not your fault, we will refund amounts paid for undelivered work. Where an order is terminated for fraud or abuse, no refund is payable to the extent permitted by law. You may stop using our services at any time, and may cancel a recurring subscription in line with our Refund Policy.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Queensland courts.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website.
